If you are looking for a DJ look no further . This was by far my best vendor . So organized , professional, reasonably priced , and AMAZING! Jimmy B exceeded all expectations . We had so many guests compliment us and many asked for his information for their upcoming events . The entire night ran smoothly with Jimmy’s lead . He was so personable and quick to read the crowd and select the best song choices . We can’t say enough good things . Thank you Jimmy for an amazing dance party!  Words fall short of expressing what a great job you did at the reception! Not only did you keep the party going on the dance floor, but you were so organized and your calm attitude put both Dylan and I at ease. We had so many compliments on how fun our dance was and how wonderful you were! Thank you for running a night we won’t ever forget! We will treasure the memories forever!

We had a great experience using Instant request for our wedding. They had all the music we wanted to use (as well as extra versions of the songs we wanted that we ended up liking more), and there was one song I requested them to their library and they made it happen with no issue.
We chose DJ Jimmy and couldn’t have been happier! We felt he really understood us and what we wanted the vibe for our wedding to be like when we met with him before the wedding, and he definitely executed that on our wedding night. We even pitched him an alternative to the dollar dance, and he helped us fine tune it and it ended up going better than we expected. Overall we were very happy with our experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Instant Request-specifically with our DJ Jimmy B! He was very professional, friendly, and helpful. We were not entirely sure what we wanted to music, and our pre wedding call with him cleared everything up. We loved how he managed the music and our reception and wedding, especially how he was intuitive to ours and our guests dancing needs as the night went on! We hired Instant Request for our wedding, which ended up being rescheduled due to COVID. Instant Request was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. We picked the black tie DJ and unfortunately our original DJ retired so we had to pick another. Matt and the team were so helpful in finding another, similar DJ who would work well for our event. We ended up with DJ Jimmy who was amazing! We really enjoyed working with him and thought he did an excellent job at our wedding. He communicated well with our wedding planner throughout the night and most importantly – kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We highly recommend instant request and DJ Jimmy!

FUN, helpful, professional, just awesome!  If we could only repeat one detail of our wedding it would be booking Instant Request specifically, Jimmy B.  I did a lot of research before picking Jimmy B and I’m so glad I did.  We knew right away at our planning meeting that we were in good hands. I just wanted to send a quick e-mail to let you know how fantastic Jimmy was on Saturday evening! I am so happy that we had him as our DJ! I could not have imagined a better event. He did a great mix of reading the crowd and playing our requests. I cannot rave enough about him.  I hope we didn’t scare him during our meeting, because I think we requested that more “traditional” wedding songs not be played and instead maintain more of a party environment. He absolutely delivered. He kept our dance floor packed! He did a fantastic job of reading our crowd and playing a few Indian songs.  Jimmy was the emcee that we didn’t know we needed. One thing that especially stood out to me was how he walked around to dismiss our guests for dinner. We had multiple guests approach us and told us that was an excellent way to dismiss them and they commented on how nice he was. My dad was also so happy with the microphone coaching he got pre-speech. We had so many people reach out to us on Sunday and let us know how great Jimmy was and how much fun the evening was! 

It’s hard to imagine having a better experience with a wedding DJ service than I had with Instant Request DJ Entertainment and specifically, DJ Jimmy B from their Black Tie Staff. We hired DJ Jimmy to play music and supply a microphone for our wedding ceremony and our reception. DJ Jimmy was incredibly professional and well-prepared, he did a great job during our ceremony, and an even better job getting people on the dance floor. He played music that we requested and added in his own selections that were fantastic. He was a great communicator during the event and I really appreciate the amazing job he did for us. I’d recommend DJ Jimmy and Instant Request to everyone!

We LOVED our DJ – Jimmy B.  He met and far exceeded our expectations.  He was a perfect fit for our style! He got everyone moving, dancing, entertained, and involved.  As the wedding approached, my biggest fear was that no one would dance, and that was definitely not the case! Jimmy played the perfect mix of old and new music, and again, it got everyone moving! I loved the dance – in fact, I am almost positive I danced to every single song! Jimmy was definitely in tune with us and the audience!  The thing I like best about Instant Request is that our DJ made our day absolutely perfect! I loved that I was able to put in a request for a DJ that came recommended to us, and that we got to use him and LOVED him! I love how quickly people responded to my emails and questions.  I also loved how we could request/block music in the online event planner.  We also loved that we got a great deal for our DJ services! We got a special price/deal and it was such a great value! As our wedding day got closer, I was worried that we “didn’t spend enough” on a DJ and boy was I wrong! Jimmy far exceeded our expectations! I truly believe we got a wonderful deal for the price!  Thank you so so much for making our wedding day perfect and enjoyable! Our guests were dancing the night away (as was my husband and I) and our guests reported having a fabulous time!!   We had the best night of our lives!

We hired Instant Request through our reception venue and were SO glad we did! DJ Jimmy Bogen was phenomenal throughout the whole process from the initial meeting to the end of our reception. He was so easy to work with and incredibly flexible! Instant Request has an awesome online library of songs that you can pick as must haves, likes, or don’t play’s. We ended up changing our first dance song a few nights before the wedding and he was totally cool with it! The dance itself was awesome. The various events throughout the reception flowed seamlessly and he did such a great job reading the crowd and keeping everyone grooving. We never saw an empty dance floor the whole night and we even had my grandparents and great uncles on the dance floor the same time as my husband’s frat brothers! We had a very diverse wedding and guests and DJ Jimmy was able to accommodate everyone’s tastes! We can not say enough good things about our experience with Instant Request DJ Entertainment. Booking the DJ and communicating with the company was seamless. Our photographer highly recommended DJ Jimmy B to us and he did an absolutely outstanding job! We never had an empty dance floor and we received numerous compliments from our guests both young and old! DJ Jimmy was great. I would and have already recommended him to multiple friends getting married in the near future. Instant Request, as always, did a FANTASTIC job! I’ve attended several weddings where Instant Request was used as a DJ, so when it came to planning my own wedding – it was a no brainer!  Jimmy did a FANTASTIC job at keeping the dance floor alive and playing songs to get everyone up and dancing! We LOVED our DJ, Jimmy Bogen! Amazing! Look no further.  Instant Request was super easy to work with and has an easy interface to get your DJ all the info that they will need for your perfect day. I would pay the Black Tie extra cost and get Jimmy. He was an amazing DJ and kept people dancing for 3.5 hours straight! This was a super important part of our wedding and he knocked it out of the park. Just as an FYI you will just have one meeting with your DJ about 2 weeks before the wedding. Leading up till then you can work on filling out your wedding details. This process worked just perfectly for us! DJ Jimmy will have your back 100000% and we were so lucky to have him! People danced all night and we had the best time EVER! We loved Instant Request!

Amazing experience for our wedding! The office was in contact with us through the planning process, once a DJ was assigned about 2 weeks before the event , DJ Jimmy Bogen reach out first thing to discuss specifics on the event. We gave him minimal guidelines and told him we just wanted a good dance party for the reception. Jimmy absolutely killed it. We and all our guests had a blast and Jimmy playing excellent music the whole night. He even helped the father of the bride out on his speech upon his request. 100% recommend. Thanks again!!!

We had Jimmy B as our DJ for our September wedding and he was BEYOND amazing! We first saw Jimmy perform at our friend’s wedding and instantly knew we wanted him as our DJ for our wedding. Jimmy sat down with us and really narrowed down the feel we wanted for our wedding. Jimmy was organized and put us at ease when we couldn’t think of every song we wanted to play. The music was high quality and the equipment was pristine! We received so many compliments about our reception and how Jimmy made the people who normally will not dance, dance the night away! Jimmy B was awesome! We met him at FIVE Event Center during an open house, and we knew we wanted him as our DJ right away. He was great to work with and made sure to stick to my wife’s playlist. He was great reading the floor and playing songs to keep the dancing going. We received a lot of compliments. A few of the vendors we worked with asked who our DJ was going to be, and when we said Jimmy B, they immediately lit up and said how much they love working with him. So definitely a great person and absolutely worth the price.

The office staff was friendly, accommodating, timely and extremely helpful with e-mails and phone calls.  The online event planner software was very useful. It was really helpful in organizing the music for all the different parts of our day and the sample playlists were great. Our DJ, Jimmy, was great. He fit our style perfectly and completely listened to our likes and dislikes on the day-of, even when many people were requesting songs on our “do not play” list, which was much appreciated. What we liked best about Instant Request was our DJ. He was a perfect match for us and we enjoyed working with him. We also enjoyed the level of experience and professionalism at Instant Request in general. It made us feel like we were in good hands and it was one less area of our wedding to worry about. There was nothing we were disappointed in whatsoever. We thought Instant Request’s pricing was GREAT. We were initially meeting with another vendor who tried to tell us we needed double the lights that Instant Request said we needed to achieve the same effect. We felt like they were just trying to up-sell us and get us to spend as much as possible. We never felt that way working with Instant Request.

Instant Request is an excellent vendor that comes at a very reasonable price. We had our entire event in one location so we hired Instant Request to handle the music for everything: our wedding ceremony (pre-wedding music started at 4:30 pm), cocktail hour, dinner hour (including playing a DVD slideshow on a large screen), and the dance which went until 12:00 am. Before the wedding, they provide an online event planner that helps you to plan every aspect of the music for your event – from ceremony to first dance to whether you want the “Chicken Dance” played (no thanks :-). The planner also has every song on the planet to browse and listen to and there are suggestions provided as well. Jimmy B. was our DJ and he was awesome. We paid extra for the “black tie” service which included hand-picking our DJ and meeting him in person. Upon meeting Jimmy, we were put at complete ease because it was clear that he was competent and capable and had a wide range of knowledge regarding the different music genres. He not only looked like a professional DJ, he sounded like a real radio personality in his tone, inflection and confidence at the mic. We would without a doubt recommend Instant Request and DJ Jimmy B.

Jimmy Bogen with Instant Request DJ was the best DJ ever. He met with us a few weeks before hand to really understand what we wanted at our wedding and the vibe of our guests. He was every bride’s (and day-of coordinator’s) dream because he arrived early to our venue (the Loft at Studio J in Stillwater MN) to make sure he had plenty of time to setup. He was super engaging and lively during the cocktail hour, speeches and dinner. However, he was truly amazing once the dance floor opened up and he kept so many people on the dance floor all the way until the end! Seriously, two of our friends actually bowed down to him at the end of the night and said he was the best DJ ever. We continue to get compliments on how fun our night was because of all of the dancing. THANK YOU JIMMY! I would recommend him to anyone looking to throw a fun party!

Black-tie DJ Jimmy Bogen was the best DJ ever and we’re so thankful that we booked him through Instant Request! We booked him for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He gave helpful advice and guidance at our planning meeting, and the online planner is a great resource. Day-of he was on-time, friendly, professional, full of energy, and made our reception a blast. We selected the songs/genres for certain aspects of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but ultimately gave him freedom to play songs based on the crowd and his knowledge/experience. The dance floor was never empty and we received so many compliments from guests! We highly recommend Jimmy. 

We went with the “black tie” option so we could choose our DJ. My sister is in the wedding industry and she recommended that we go with Jimmy B. He was incredible. He was a true professional and really easy-going. He listened to all our requests and made them happen. He was very responsive with emails. He also had an excellent feel for what songs to play and blended a few songs together (mash-up) style that made the music really stand-out/unique. 

Highly recommend Instant Request! We chose Jimmy with the black tie option, and he was amazing. He really listened to what we wanted while providing professional advice that was spot on. The night went so smoothly and our guests had a great time dancing all night! We also used their uplighting which worked great, and the online planning tool was really helpful too. Overall, we learned how much of a difference a good DJ can make to the day and Instant Request is a great choice!

We highly recommend working with Instant Request, we had them provide reception uplighting, one of their custom DJ booths and DJ Jimmy through their Black Tie Service for both the ceremony and reception. Jimmy was so fun and easy to work with, he helped us through some of the elements of the day we hadn’t thought through yet and when we wanted two songs added that weren’t apart of Instant Requests online portal we got them added for us. Everyone was on the dance floor all night and in the days after our wedding, I had multiple friends comment on how fun our dance floor was. I highly recommend Instant Request and specifically DJ Jimmy. Also from a pricing perspective we found them very reasonable.

I booked Instant Request DJ Entertainment for my wedding this past July. Mitch was great to work with and was patient with all the questions I had before booking. We were luckily enough to be assigned with Jimmy B as our DJ. He was INCREDIBLE. I think I truly lived my best life out on the dance floor. It was packed the whole time and he did such a good job playing songs that everyone loved. I could not recommend him or Instant Request DJ more. Truly made my wedding the most it could have been!

Instant Request was easy to work with from the beginning and very organized. Our DJ Jimmy B was amazing!!! He put together our ceremony music seamlessly, even using a family piano recording for us. He created the best dance floor ever – it was full and non-stop until the end of the night! We had multiple guests tell us that not only was Jimmy B the best wedding DJ they had ever heard but that we also had the best wedding dance floor ever! It was a perfect fun-filled night thanks to Jimmy – exactly what we had hoped for! Cannot recommend Instant Request or Jimmy B highly enough! Thank you for everything!
